Finding Dory

Last night we had our annual family movie night.
Last year we saw the Minions movie, but this year we saw the well anticipated Finding Dory movie!
We have been wanting to see it since it came out, and if you still haven't seen it yet, then you definitely need to see it.
Not going to lie, but I teared up a little bit.
All of my nieces and nephews went to the movies with my mom, brother, his girlfriend and I.
It was so much fun!
It wouldn't be a family movie night unless we didn't have a themed dinner before hand.
My mom made dinner totally under the sea themed.
There were "sea snails" aka mini weenies, "ocean water" aka blue Hawaiian punch and shell pasta.
And of course those delicious cupcakes with blue frosting.
We all ate way too much popcorn and maybe that is why I'm not feeling so well today but it was good!

And after our movie night I went over my boyfriend's house for family game night. I just caught the end of whatever crazy game they were playing.
And my boyfriend was matching me!
We both had orange shirts on. We do this literally all the time.
We went to a graduation party a couple of weeks ago and I had a navy blue dress on and guess what color he was wearing from head to toe?
Navy blue!

I kinda got into the Dory themed spirit because my shirt has what appears to be seashells on it, and has scalloped sleeves.
Also, you find pearls under the sea, so I had my big pearl earrings on!
Okay, I know those are kind of a stretch but still!

And I will be swimming with real fishes in a couple of days when I go on vacation!!!
Can anyone guess where I am going??

Frolic 2016

The girls bathroom

The boy's bathroom

So after I graduated high school on Friday, I had dinner with my huge family at my house until 10pm and then at 10pm the party aka Frolic started.
Frolic is a party for all the seniors in the school gym that is hosted after graduation from 10pm-3am Saturday morning.
Many years ago some kids got into a drunk driving accident after graduation so the parents raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to make the gym this amazing work of art and so kids can go and hang out with their friends and celebrate graduation in a safe place.
Every year the gym is completely transformed and is way over the top.
This year's theme was Bikini Bottom from Sponge Bob.
I personally, hate Sponge Bob, so I wasn't too excited when I showed up to Frolic, but once you walk into the gym, and the pictures don't do it justice, I was amazed.
The gym was completely transformed and it was absolutely amazing!
They had the Krusty Krab where they were serving Krabby Patties, The Chum Bucket, and Spongebob and Squidward's houses. They also had a sand pit with a volleyball net set up. We must have spent hours in there.
There was a "bull" ride thing but it was a shark. And various arcade games and poker for anyone that didn't want to dance. My friends and I pretty much danced all night though. We enjoyed the free ice cream and playing some beach volley ball. But we also got airbrush tattoos, took photos in the photo booths and ate some candy.
It was a really fun but very long night.
No joke, everyone left at like 2 am so there was like 30 of us left, which was kind of sad because the parents worked so hard on the party and they all left to go to other various parties to drink. So it kinda defeated the purpose of the Frolic.
But my friends and I didn't care, as the MC said we "shut down the dance floor."

The photo of me above looking very Hawaiian esq were part of our party favors. The parents photoshopped everyone's senior photos to make us look like we were at a luau. Mine actually looks pretty good. Like it looks like I could have actually been at a luau when they took the photo but everyone else didn't necessarily. I honestly think the boys looked the worse out of all the pictures.
Also in ur goodie bags was a customized towel in our school colors and a Starbucks gift card, pretty cool.
After dancing all night, we went to our local dinner for breakfast at 4am and then we attempted to watch the sunrise but failed. It was a nice attempt.
I went to bed at 5:30 am on Saturday and I slept until 3:30 pm that same day.
I was exhausted and overwhelmed. I didn't really have a chance to process the fact that I graduated high school.
I have now, and I am really excited for college and the future!!

On the invitation they wanted us to wear a bright colored t-shirt and shorts. None of the girls really wanted to wear shorts. We all wanted to wear our graduation dresses. But instead we settled for rompers. And we were perfectly dressed. I was really comfortable in my romper and it was good that I wore shorts because I was able to participate in beach volleyball and Twister.
Joe and I were really doing well in Twister because we are so tall, and we have very long limbs! He made it to like the final round, where I kinda gave up. Yaassss Joe!!!
