Five Friday Favorites | 51 | Long Island Taco Restaurant, Parisienne Fashion, Carry-on Suitcase & Gilmore Girls
- Dirty Taco- My new favorite taco spot on Long Island. I’ve been to two of the locations. I’m absolutely in love with these unique and fun tacos. The fried chicken taco is so delicious.
- BA&SH- I found this brand while I was in Paris. This is the ultimate Parisienne girl brand that you can shop in the states. If you are traveling to Europe I highly recommend checking this store out as it is more economical to purchase something from BA&SH in the EU.
- Repetto- A Parisienne ballet shoe store which also sells ballet flats for non ballerinas. I picked up a navy patent pair with a little block heel in Paris as the perfect Paris souvenir.
- Gilmore Girls- I guess I live under a rock, but I’ve never seen this wildly popular series. Now that I’ve started, I see the hype. I’m a big fan.
- Delsey carry-on suitcase- August has been the month of travel. I picked up this carry-on approved rolling suitcase for all my trips in August. I really like it. It was great to carry home my luxury goods from Europe and for my carry-on only weekend to Florida.

Like Yellowstone, we booked a private guided tour with Obsidian Expeditions for our day trip of Grand Teton. We had another amazing day with Stacy from Obsidian.
During our Grand Teton day, we saw so many animals! We saw several moose, three bears (including a cub), elk, deer and chipmunks. It was so fun!

Yellowstone National Park with Obsidian Expeditions Bespoke Tours
Mid august, my parents, twin brother and I embarked on a wild adventure out west.
We stayed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and took a day trip to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
If you want to read about where we stayed, what I wore and what we ate, you can read that post here.
Today I’m covering our trip to Yellowstone National Park.
We booked a private tour with Obsidian Expeditions. Our guide was Stacy, the owner and founder of the company.
Let me just say W O W. Stacy is so incredibly knowledgeable. He knew everything and anything. If you had a question about the land, the animals, the history of the area, he really knew it all. He also had fun stories to share about past tours he has lead. He’s an EMT, he has a PHD and he’s a tech wizard turned adventurer. He is incredibly intelligent and such an interesting human.
We booked the two day guided tours of Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Usually the tours are two days back to back, but we asked to split them up.
Our Yellowstone day was a full, eventful and exciting almost-12 hour day. Stacy talked for about 10 of those 12 hours. We learned so much from him. We also had so much fun.
We saw all the highlights of Yellowstone (as seen in the photos). It was a bespoke tour based on anything we wanted to see. None of us had been out there before, so we wanted to see highlights, and that’s exactly what we did.
Stacy picked the four of us up at our hotel in a roomy white van with high ceilings and led our group on an adventure.
We grabbed sandwiches and breakfast and ate in the van while we explored.
Stacy made sure we saw every animal that we could find. He brought us to the cleanest and nicest bathrooms. He had snacks and drinks in the trunk.
We entered through the south entrance of Yellowstone, lost all cell phone service and were transported to a magical world, unlike anything I had ever seen before or anything I could even imagine.
It was absolutely incredible.
One of the only things I wrote down from the tour was that Yellowstone is the world’s first ever national park. All the other fun facts, you are going to have to let Stacy tell you.
The highlight of our tour of Yellowstone, was definitely, getting to see the wildlife. We saw: buffalo, elk, ravens, and chipmunks.
We cannot recommend Stacy and his company enough. He made our trip extra special.
Stay tuned for the Grand Teton National Park post next!
