Christmas Day 2015

Merry Christmas!
Christmas this year was at my brother Michael's house. He lives right around the corner from me with his family so we just walked right on over. Christmas this year was very nice! But lets be real Christmas every year is really nice!
My mom and I were just talking about this but Christmas came so fast this year! My first day of break was Christmas Eve so I never really had a chance to really relax and mentally prepare myself for Christmas. I got in the Christmas spirit but not as much as I usually do! But that also has to do with the fact that it was 70 degrees on Christmas Eve!!
Here is my Christmas day outfit, which I think will be a perfect outfit to wear for New Years Eve too!

Shirt: Gap purple flowy blouse (very similar!!)
Vest: H&M black/purple long faux fur vest (very similar and ON SALE)
Earrings: Tiffany pearls
Bag: Tory Burch crossbody/evening bag Deco-T cross body bag in black (new!)

Christmas Eve 2015

Merry Christmas Eve!!!
This year I had Christmas Eve at my house this year, which is kind of different for my family! We went to mass and then my sister and her family came over and so did my grandparents! For dinner we had the Italian tradition of seven fishes (sushi included!) I passed on most of the fish...
Tomorrow for Christmas we are going over to my brother's house!

My Christmas Eve outfit was very different for me! If you couldn't tell by the photos, it was black (very strange for me) and a jumpsuit! I have never owned a jumpsuit before and I loved it!! I went shopping the other day for a new LBD and found this jumpsuit instead so I went for it!! (And tall girls, you ladies can totally rock one! Yes, it's a lot of fabric in one color, but if it's simple you are all good! You might have to let the hem down a bit, like I had to, but it was totally worth it!)
I thought I was going to be cold today, because it's sleeveless but it was 70 degrees here today!!! 70 DEGREES!!??? What???? I live in the north! This is a record breaking temperature for Christmas time!!
My brother didn't really understand my jumpsuit and why I was wearing it... but I don't care I love it, it is so chic and comfortable! And perfect to hide your food baby!! Lol!!

Earrings: Tiffany pearls
Necklace: Forever 21 multi stranded faux pearls (similar)

Candy Cane Tournament

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Yesterday at school we had the Candy Cane Tournament which is a volleyball tournament where we have senior teams compete against each other and raise money for an organization.
My team was "SETflix and Chill." It's a joke! It's suppose to be Netflix and Chill, which is apparently what all the cool kids say theses days! And SETflix because it's like setting the ball in volleyball. Get it?? Get it?? And on the back of our shirts we all had tv shows! (I had Gossip Girl on mine!!!)
Unfortunately my team lost in the first round to a team we thought we were going to beat, and it was kinda embarrassing. Also, my friend Joe broke his glasses playing... so there was that. And the team that won had three varsity volleyball players on it so we weren't that surprised that they won!

Well Merry almost Christmas! Another blog post will be up soon about my Christmas Eve outfit!!

I have a New Photographer????

My photographer/twin brother Peter

Today my twin brother was my lovely photographer!
Usually my mom just takes a couple of photos, but Peter decided to take 45! He was really funny with telling me how to pose, it was a lot of fun!
Tomorrow is my last day before Christmas break and I couldn't be more excited! To get into the holiday spirit I have my Women's Chorus holiday concert tonight at school! I have a solo in one of the songs and it's pretty exciting!!

This outfit for me today is a little outside my comfort zone. It is mixing two patterns. If you saw my Scarves blog post in November you may have seen how I mixed my orange and blue scarf with a navy blue stripped shirt. But today I mixed a blue and green plaid button down with a grey fur vest! I have to say that I was inspired by all the preppy bloggers out there to wear this outfit! I think the different patterns and textures really worked! Let me know what you guys think in the comments!!!

Shirt: J Crew blue and green plaid button down (similar)
Vest: gray faux fur vest (similar)

We Finally Decorated the Christmas Tree!!!

Hello Lovelies!
I have a short school week this week, 3 days! I was really stressed out yesterday because as you can see I had a very busy weekend with not a lot of time for homework or studying. I was suppose to have this really big essay due tomorrow but thankfully my English teacher moved it due after the new year! What a sigh of relief!
Look we finally decorated the Christmas tree! I have just been so busy that my mom and I haven't gotten a chance to do it! But we did it yesterday and it came out so nice!!
Oh and I got into two colleges!! Pretty exciting!
Today after school my Women's Chorus class and I went to a nursing home and sang! It was so much fun and the elderly men and women were so cute! This one man that I was talking to told me that I was a very sweet girl and that I have to make my parents proud one day and marry a nice man. It was a little out of the blue, but very sweet!
Here is my outfit! (It is the same outfit from Saturday, minus the black J Crew Gigi pants)

Sweater: H&M red knit wool sweater (similar)
Boots: Tory Burch black riding boots (similar)
Earrings: Tiffany pearls
