So Close!

I leave for spring break in two days!
As my academic responsibilities decrease and I keep checking things off my to-do list in my Day Designer planner, I am getting more and more checked out and more and more excited for spring break.

I am the kind of person, that loves being busy.
Being busy helps me focus on the important things at hand.
It also helps me to not miss my family or get homesick. It's a blessing and a curse.
And right now, I am soooo busy.
We finalized our plans for our big trip yesterday at lunch and I am very excited but I am holding myself back from being too excited because I have lots to do before then.

Last night, I was at the library until 12:30... The latest I have stayed all semester.
It's because I spent maybe five hours editing my French paper, and it was a serious struggle.
It had to be three pages, and I didn't have three pages of information to write about!
I also had to study for a public speaking quiz AND a history midterm.
The only thing left for me to do tomorrow, is take this history midterm!

After 10:45 am tomorrow morning, I will be done!
I will officially check my brain out for spring break.
I have class on Friday, but nothing is due then, so I can kinda just enjoy myself and day dream about sitting on the beach in class, maybe.

I am going to pack tomorrow after my test and get ready for my big trip!

And ah, it officially feels like spring here!
Kids were playing croquet and sunbathing on the quad...that's when you know it's spring!
But not that it hasn't felt like spring the past couple of weeks, but it is officially spring for me, when I pull out my white jeans!
They are out and not going away!
I should apologize in advance, but I will probably wear them every day this spring, until they get dirty... (which they already did....)
