Lighting the Quad

I have attempted to write this blog post for 2 days now...
I took pictures in front of the tree on Wednesday but I wasn't a big fan of my outfit, there was just a lot going on with my outfit, so I decided to go back yesterday, with a cuter outfit on and take some pics!

But back to Tuesday. Tuesday night we lit up the quad!
It was cold, so good thing I wore my big winter coat and hat!
It rained all day Tuesday, so it was just very damp all day.
But I was prepared to stand outside in the cold in my hat, gloves and parka!
There were lots of musical performances from all of the a cappella groups. I knew all of the songs, of course, so it was so hard for me to not sing along! For parts I did and I also may have danced a bit, sorry for the people standing behind me! It really made me miss singing.
I can't wait to be apart of chorus next semester!
We sipped some hot coco, lol I waited until it was literally COLD to drink, because I hate burning my tongue and embarrassed myself in front of a cute boy! So bravo Elisabeth!

After the fun holiday festivities, I went right into studying, like I have been doing all week!
Woooooo!!!
Finals are next week, ahhhhh but it's all gonna be okay!!
I did so much studying last night, my brain hurt by the end of the night!

Here is a super cute, cozy and comfortable outfit, perfect for finals!
I am obsessed with this wool scarf! Got it for Christmas last year from my oldest brother and his wife and it is adorable! It has little pom poms on the bottom of it and is really warm! And I always get so many complements on it!
And it goes really well with this sweater!
This outfit yesterday was very simple but looked super chic!
You can't go wrong with a pair of black pants (the hook at the top came off... oops, good thing I had a belt on!). I love these from J Crew because they are pretty much leggings, but nice, dressy leggings!
And this sweater is also great because it's long and covers your butt, if you are a fan of that, and it also just super flattering because of the rounded hem.
This is definitely an outfit I could wear next week to finals because it is super easy and super comfortable!
And you know what they say, "Dress well, test well!!"
