Bryant Park and Broadway

Hi!!

My last day in NYC was yesterday.
I go back to North Carolina tomorrow for my sophomore year of college!
Very bitter sweet yet again.
I said goodbye to my favorite and the BEST city in the world yesterday until I'm back in a couple of months.
I always forget how much I miss the city until it is not at my fingertips anymore.

Saying goodbye to the city was one reason why my mom and I ventured into Manhattan yesterday but that was not the only thing on our to do list.
My mom and I went to see a Broadway show and did a little photo shoot in Bryant Park.

I feel like this is a tradition now.
Last year, a couple days before I went to college, my mom and I saw an American in Paris (click HERE to read that blog post from last year) and met my dad for dinner.
This year we saw Beautiful: The Carol King Musical.
Both shows were amazing! I had no idea that Carol King wrote so many songs that other groups performed!

My mom and I love the theater! We go to see shows about 4 times a year.
I have loved the theater my whole life and I have been going since I was 5.
My first Broadway show was Beauty and the Beast. And the beast scared me and my brother so much that we both threw up in the back of the theater.... I remember the pretty red dress I wore and the throwing up part as well.... eeeekkk
I actually have a binder of all of the playbills from all the Broadway shows I have seen.
It is just a wonderful collection of memories.

My mom and I love to get dressed up to go anywhere but especially to go to the theater!!
It's a real shame that some men go in t-shirts and shorts to the theater. AND some women!
The theater used to be so sophisticated and it is sadly loosing the sophistication.

My mom and I got all dressed up in blue with our pink Tory Burch bags!!

I was sent this dress from Zaful
I read some reviews online about how the quality of the clothes isn't that great, but I'd like to beg a differ!
This dress looks and feels wayyyy more expensive than it was! The quality really isn't as bad as many people said it would be- this dress is a cotton and polyester mix!
I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened my package!
It was nice to see that this dress isn't see through and all the seams match up!

This dress is off the shoulder and knee length.
It has an elastic waist and top and it is so so comfortable.
It hit me right below me knees but if you are shorter than me (odds are you are) it will probably be more of a midi-length dress.

I also got so many complements on this dress.
I think this dress would look good on so many women of all shapes and sizes!

I am also going to do a review really soon about these really awesome metal cat eye sunglasses!
You can check that out real soon!

Zaful also has some really great back to school clothes that I think I might have to order, after this successful order!!

Jack Rogers Palm Beach sandals in white ON SALE
Tory Burch pink satchel bag

And look how cute my mom is!!
I ordered her this shirt from J Crew and it's such an Elisabeth and Alice shirt!
I love the ruffled sleeves which are so trendy right now and going into the fall and she loved the print!
This blouse is the perfect way for my mom to incorporate the big voluminous sleeve trend into her wardrobe!

Ann Taylor khaki capri pants
Tory Burch pink tote bag

*Maybe I've never said this, but I honestly only write about items that I like. I am sent many offers by other companies and I decline them because I don't believe in their products or don't like their products.
All the thoughts on this dress and the company are my own.
