1. Fornino- Looking for a new underrated rooftop bar/restaurant? Fornino in Brooklyn, on Pier 6 is one of my favorite spots! With great coal fire pizza, beer and views of Manhattan, what gets better? The ferry is also right next door, also at Pier 6 to get you wherever you need to go!
2. NYC Ferry- Alex and I have talked about taking the ferry instead of the subway for a while now, and this weekend we finally took the ferry to Brooklyn, uptown by accident and back to Wall Street. It’s a great way to see the city and get where you have to go for $2.75.
3. Governors Island- I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, this is my favorite place in New York City! It feels like such a magical place with old forts, green space, food trucks and beautiful views of Manhattan.
4. Weekends- This sounds like a silly one, but I love weekends. Weekends are my time to have fun and spend quality time with my boyfriend, friends and family. I have always been a planner and planning fun weekend activities are the only things getting me through the work or school week. I value my weekends so much. Weekends make me happy.
