My Valentine's Day Weekend

I had a really sweet Valentine’s Day.
I was surprised with flowers and a bottle of wine from Burgundy, France, the region that I studied abroad in last year, and a balloon from my boyfriend.

Valentine’s Day was also Big Little Reveal! Stay tuned, to see that blog post on Thursday.
My lineage and I welcomed a new member into our lineage, and we celebrated her all day.
We had dinner together and then went to a drag show organized by Wake’s Student Union.
It was so fun!
We then had sisterhood and I danced the night away with all of my Galentines.

Saturday morning, my Galentine’s and I had a little brunch at our apartment. I picked up bagels, which were quite disappointing. And we spilled some tea on the events from the night before.
My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day on Saturday night.
We cracked open the bottle of wine from Burgundy before eating dinner at Spring House in downtown Winston. The restaurant is actually an old mansion. It is beautiful!
We had the lobster mac and cheese to start, and a delicious fresh bread plate. I had the seafood carbonara and a glass of pinot noir.
This might be my new favorite restaurant.
I wore my ASOS tweed dress, that you may recognize from Christmas. I paired it with my Jack Rogers boots (you can use my promo code: CBALIZ for 15% off at jackrogersusa.com) and my Kate Spade bag from Rent the Runway (you can use the code: RTRWAKEFOREST 25 for 25% off an Update or a one-time rental).

This bag was the perfect little piece for Valentine’s Day!
I love the pop of color and the heart on it! It is so sweet. It is tiny, but it was able to hold my phone, lipstick and my cards.
I love that I can rent clothes monthly from Rent the Runway, so I always have something new to wear for special events!
I had a really nice weekend after a bit of a hectic week.
Hope everyone had a weekend full of love!
